Code of Conduct

1. Our Commitment
Ace Strategies is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct in all our professional activities. We adhere to principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability in our government relations, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement work. Our clients’ reputations are always protected.
2. Professional Standards
We conduct our business in accordance with:
- The Australian Government's Lobbying Code of Conduct
- Relevant state and territory lobbying regulations
- The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Code of Ethics
- Australian Consumer Law and Competition and Consumer Act 2010
3. Government Engagement
When engaging with government representatives on behalf of clients, we:
- Register on all relevant federal and state lobbyist registers
- Clearly disclose the client we represent in all government interactions
- Do not offer or provide any inducements to government representatives
- Respect the confidentiality of government processes and information
- Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts immediately
4. Client Relationships
Our commitment to clients includes:
- Providing honest, objective, and strategic counsel
- Maintaining client confidentiality
- Clearly defining scope, fees, and deliverables in written agreements
- Declining engagements that conflict with our values or legal obligations
- Delivering services with professional diligence and care
5. Conflicts of Interest
We maintain a conflicts register and will not accept engagements that create actual or perceived conflicts with existing clients without full disclosure and consent from all affected parties.
6. Media and Public Communications
In all public communications, we commit to:
- Accuracy and truthfulness in all statements and representations
- Transparent disclosure of client relationships when required
- Respect for media independence and editorial integrity
- Correction of any inadvertent errors promptly and publicly
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We protect confidential information obtained through our professional activities and comply with all applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.
8. Reporting Concerns
Any concerns regarding our conduct may be directed to the Managing Director at info@acestrategies.au. We are committed to addressing all concerns promptly and fairly.
This Code of Conduct is reviewed annually and was last updated January 2026.
